Q.What is IPPrep Pro?

IPPrep Pro is a browser-based tool that generates complete USPTO patent filing packages and information disclosure statements (IDS) from a single data entry. Enter an application's details once and it produces every required form as editable, Patent Center-compatible files downloaded to your computer — no manual re-typing across forms.

Q.Which USPTO forms does it generate?

Eleven form types from one entry:

Q.How does the IDS tool work?

It imports examiner citations directly from a U.S. Office Action (Form 892), extracts references from foreign Office Actions across JP, KR, CN, TW, SG and EP (with OCR for scanned documents), and accepts Excel and batch reference lists. It looks up bibliographic data and fetches the reference PDFs, auto-fills non-patent literature from a DOI or arXiv ID, flags duplicates against prior filed IDSs, advises on 37 CFR 1.97 timing and certification, and outputs a complete ZIP with the SB/08 PDF and transmittal letter. Q.Does it file with the USPTO for me?

No — IPPrep Pro prepares the documents; you file them. It outputs Patent Center-compatible PDFs and Word files that you upload and submit through USPTO Patent Center yourself, so you stay in control of the actual filing. See IPPrep Pro vs Patent Center.

Q.Are the outputs editable and Patent Center compatible?

Yes. Every PDF is fully editable before you file and is compatible with Patent Center submission. The assignment is a Word document you can execute and submit for recordation in the standard way.

Q.Which foreign Office Actions can it read?

Japanese (JP), Korean (KR), Chinese (CN), Taiwanese (TW), Singaporean (SG) and European (EP) Office Actions, plus U.S. examiner citations from the Form 892. Scanned documents are handled with OCR.

Q.Where is my data stored?

Generated files are downloaded to your own computer. Nothing is stored on our servers without your control, and you can save and reload a working session whenever you choose.

Q.Will it replace my docketing system?

No. IPPrep Pro focuses on generating the filing package and IDS documents and works alongside your existing docketing system — it doesn't manage deadlines, billing or client records. See IPPrep Pro vs AppColl for how the two fit together.

Q.How is it different from ClaimMaster, Patent Bots or AppColl?

IPPrep Pro assembles the entire filing package from one entry in the browser and goes deep on Office-Action-to-IDS intake — reading the Form 892, extracting foreign OA references with OCR, and importing Excel and batches. The others specialize elsewhere: ClaimMaster (Word proofreading and forms), Patent Bots (AI proofreading and drafting), and AppColl (docketing and IP management). IPPrep Pro complements them.
